This privacy policy applies to the use of the Croissant Subscription platform, operated by matelier (hereinafter "we" or "us").
We act as a technical service provider (processor) for various bakeries. The party responsible for data processing within the meaning of the Data Protection Act is the respective bakery with which you conclude your subscription. The bakery is clearly identified on the main page by its logo and contact details.
When you conclude a croissant subscription, we process the following data for the purpose of contract fulfillment and management:
In order to manage your subscription over the entire term (in particular for the weekly reminders), your contact and subscription data are securely stored with our payment service provider Stripe. The data is assigned directly to the Stripe account of the respective bakery. As the platform operator, we do not store your personal data on our own systems to ensure the highest degree of data protection and data separation.
If you agree during the ordering process, we use your email address to send you a weekly summary of your upcoming pickup dates. You can revoke this function at any time by sending an informal email to us or the bakery.
After successful payment, your complete order and contact details will be forwarded to your chosen bakery in the form of a confirmation email. This is necessary so that the bakery can fulfill your order and provide the croissants for you.
